So what did you do for the 4th of July?
The Weber family sent the day @ Downeta Swim Park in Downey, ID, it is about 45 minutes north of us. We had a great time enjoying the hot spring water (it was so warm) the 3 waterslides. The kids are little water babies and didn't want to leave! Jennette, Janell, Alisa, Paige, Jeremiah, Jackie, Whitney, Daniel, & Courtney & Jessica (Court's girlfriend) were all there. Grammy Diane joined us in the pool after lunch! Grandpa went on the 4-wheeler for a great ride. We ran into my Dad's brother, Uncle Lynn. It was nice to see him. We had a blast. it was well worth the money and the drive.

Well... Chad had to work that evening. So we put our shed working aside and took the kids to Wall-E and to lunch at Iggy's. It was D-licious! But I don't think Chad enjoyed the food as much because he decided to eat his tongue... I've never seen a tongue cut that badly or bleed that long. Poor guy! Then Chad went to work and I worked on the shed until it was time for fireworks. Then we drove into Ogden, watched the fireworks from our car and went to find Chad where he was directing traffic. Then he got to go on break with us, so we headed home to eat Wendy's burgers and light off some of our own fountains. Yay! So, not too exciting. But the kids enjoyed the day. And isn't that what it's all about?
